why are so many web fonts so bad looking?
Forgive me if this is a dumb question... or if there is a resource that
explains this.
I don't mean in terms of design. I mean that so many really commonly used
web fonts (and OTFs) have terribly jagged edges and really 'unsmooth'
curves when rendered in the browser.
OR, the font may look OK at a one or two sizes (usually a really odd PX
size) but crappy at most other sizes.
